Today is my last day of work! We're all going out to lunch for my last day. Of course, I picked Mexican! Today, it was not so hard to get up!
We didn't do a whole lot yesterday for Valentine's Day. Chris and I are going out this weekend to celebrate. Chris gave me a beautiful bouquet of spring flowers....several of my favorites in there, daisies! Caleb gave me a little box of chocolates, which he wants to eat! Caleb was so excited when we brought in his package from my parents. He squealed, "I wanna open present!!" He got a box full of goodies from Nana and Pop.
We've had a set back lately getting him to bed without trouble. We (Chris and I) had a knock-down, drag out over it with Caleb the night before last. It's amazing that Caleb thinks he can win! Well, I was gearing up for another tough time last night, but when we put him to bed, he said his prayers and stayed there! No argument! God is good! Caleb has gotten soooo cute when he says his prayers, whether at dinner time or at bedtime. He thanks God for his food, his puzzles, his animals, his toys, and finally gets around to thanking Him for Mommy and Daddy and all the grandparents and great-grandmas. If he's really wound up, he'll name all the aunts, uncles, and cousins, too! We're trying to get him to start praying for Joshua too, but he forgets sometimes! It's super sweet when he kisses us goodnight and then kisses my belly to kiss Joshua goodnight, too!

It's a boy!
So I know it's been forever.....Here's what's been happening....
Caleb is not having a baby "stister". We found out last week that we're having another little boy! I think we're going to name him Joshua. Luckily, Caleb didn't really act upset about changing to a baby brother. He even hugs my belly and kisses it and talks to Joshua. So cute! He thinks that he can tickle Joshua through my belly button and really likes to "get" him by poking my belly button!
He's getting way too smart for his own good. His comprehension just amazes me some days! His new favorite things are his puzzles. He can sit and play with those forever! He's got 2 that have different animals on them and one that's got sea animals. He gets to take one with him when we go somewhere. Luckily, he picks the chunky one; it's easy to manage! It keeps him occupied in restaurants!
I quit my job! I put my notice in week before last, so this is my last week here. I'm excited about getting to spend more time at home. I'm going to just work a couple of prn shifts a week. YEAH!
Not much else is happening with us. I forgot a funny Chris story....he's getting nesting syndrome instead of me! Yesterday, he went at it cleaning the house when we got home from church. He rearranged the living room and Caleb's room and gave Caleb's room a deep cleaning and really cleaned the rest of the house. Yeah for Chris! I was doing a paper for school, and I got tired just watching him! The house looks great. Don't I have the bestest husband in the world? Now we've just got to keep it looking so great!
